Make Arthritis Pain a thing of the past!

Make Arthritis Pain a thing of the past!Do you have stiff, achy joints?  Do you have arthritis?  About 25% of you are nodding your head yes right now!  Did you know that arthritis itself is not a disease, but a description of the way your joints feel?  Simply put, arthritis is painful inflammation of the joints.  But it’s not quite that simple.  There are over 100 different types of arthritis, and anyone can get it!

Types of Arthritis
Arthritis occurs most often as we age.    We notice morning stiffness and decreased range of motion at first.  Those symptoms increase and then develop into swollen, inflamed joints that become stiff and often immobile.  Symptoms usually get worse over time, and can result in chronic pain and immobile joints as symptoms develop.  The result is often disability.  In fact, arthritis is the number one cause of disability in the United States.  Arthritis can cause permanent joint changes and some types can affect your heart, eyes, lungs, kidneys and skin.

Degenerative
There are over 100 different types of arthritis, but the most common type is degenerative arthritis.  That’s the kind we get with age, caused by the soft tissue in the joints wearing away. Once the soft tissue is gone, bones rub together painfully.  Over time the joint weakens, and the pain becomes chronic.  The joint can become constantly painful, and then compromised.  Risk factors for degenerative arthritis include family history, age, excess weight, previous injury, and an inflammatory diet.

Inflammatory Arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis are types of inflammatory arthritis.  They are the result of immune system dysfunction.   The immune system mistakenly attacks the joints causing inflammation, joint erosion, and possibly causing damage to other parts of the body and internal organs. Researchers believe that a combination of genetics and environmental factors can trigger autoimmune disorders.  No one knows for sure what triggers an autoimmune response.  Stress, smoking, sugar, unbalanced gut bacteria, and gluten are examples of environmental risk factors that can trigger autoimmune response, and therefore rheumatoid arthritis in people with certain genes.

Infectious Arthritis
A bacterium, virus or fungus can enter the joint and trigger inflammation. Treatment with antibiotics may clear the joint infection, but sometimes the arthritis becomes chronic.  Once the bacteria is gone, the joint damage has started, and so has the inflammation that results from such damage.

Managing Arthritis
• Exercise regularly, but avoid repetitive motion
• Maintain a healthy weight
• Strengthen the muscles around the joint for support
• Balance rest and activity
• Take supplements such as a high quality fish oil, glucosamine and chondroitin, and MSM to help with the inflammation
• See your holistic health practitioner for assistance managing any type of arthritis

Nutrient IV therapy for all types of Arthritis
What Is Intravenous MSM?
MSM is a naturally-occurring, organic sulfur-containing molecule. It is found in certain foods, and is widely available as an oral supplement.  However, MSM is easily damaged by cooking, so it is difficult to get a significant amount with food.  MSM is found in large quantities in nerve tissues, skin, joints and hair.  Our bodies naturally create millions of new cells every day, and it is vital that our glands and organs create a sufficient amount of amino acids, hormones and enzymes to effectively regulate our metabolism and keep our bodies healthy.

When we are deficient of nutritional sulfur, our bodies cannot properly manufacture and rebuild adequate amounts of healthy cells.  When the cellular production process is disrupted by deficient amounts of MSM and our bodies cannot make enough healthy and flexible cells, we can become susceptible to pain, aches, allergies and other illnesses.

How does Intravenous MSM work?
IV MSM or IV Methylsulfonylmethane therapy is an excellent method of delivering MSM right into the bloodstream.  When we take oral supplements, some may be lost during the digestive process.  When specially-prepared nutrients are administered intravenously, they bypass the digestive system including the liver and are delivered directly into the bloodstream where they benefit the tissues and cells of the body.  IV MSM therapy can provide patients with a larger dose of MSM and get it successfully into the bloodstream.

MSM acts as an anti-inflammatory and an antioxidant.  Arthritis is an inflammatory condition, and using MSM intravenously is very helpful in alleviating not only the inflammation, but also the pain associated with it.
