Local Cataract and LASIK Specialist Jonathan M. Frantz, MD, FACS, is pleased to announce that Dan Jefferies, OD, and Jamie Hogan, OD, have joined the medical team at Frantz EyeCare. As optometrists these doctors are primary eye care providers who specialize in examination and diagnosis of eye diseases, vision conditions, testing for eyeglasses and contact lenses, and provide pre and post-operative care of surgery patients. Frantz EyeCare has a total of six optometrists who practice at its five locations throughout southwest Florida.
Dr. Jefferies graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University in Indiana. He worked in private practice in the Naples area for 17 years, then moved to Oregon and recently returned to southwest Florida.
Dr. Hogan graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago and completed a Primary Eye Care Residency at Dayton Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She received her Bachelor of Science from Northern Illinois University. She most recently worked as an optometrist at the VA Clinic in Port Charlotte.
Both doctors are members of the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Jefferies sees patients in the Naples office of Frantz EyeCare and Dr. Hogan sees patients in the Fort Myers and Cape Coral offices.
