TIME TO RETHINK YOUR HEALTH AND WELLNESS!

HEALTH AND WELLNESSThis past year has made us think of how we can improve our health. What will give us optimal health and wellness?

The number of people who were affected by COVID-19 is not the only illness with staggering statistics. Someone in the United States has a stroke every 40 seconds. Every 4 minutes, someone dies of stroke. Every year, more than 795,000 people in the United States have a stroke. About 610,000 of these are first or new strokes.

Anyone, including children, can have a stroke at any time. Though it typically effects those adults over the age of 65. In 2009, 34% of people hospitalized for stroke were less than 65 years old. Most of all strokes are ischemic.

• Ischemic stroke—when the blood supply to the brain is blocked.
• Hemorrhagic stroke—when a blood vessel in the brain bursts

Acting F.A.S.T. Is Key for Stroke
If you think someone may be having a stroke, act F.A.S.T. and do the following simple test:

F—Face: Ask the person to smile. Does one side of the face droop?
A—Arms: Ask the person to raise both arms. Does one arm drift downward?
S—Speech: Ask the person to repeat a simple phrase. Is the speech slurred or strange?
T—Time: If you see any of these signs, call 9-1-1  right away.

Can a stroke be prevented?
High blood pressure is the single most important treatable risk factor for stroke. Preventing, diagnosing, and controlling it through lifestyle changes and medicine are critical to reducing stroke risks. There are several steps you can take to reduce your risk for stroke:
• Eat a healthy diet low in sodium with plenty of fruits and vegetables.
• Maintain a healthy weight.
• Be physically active.
• Do not smoke and avoid secondhand smoke.
• Prevent or manage your other health conditions, especially high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and obesity.
• I.V. infused vitamin therapy
• PEMF therapy

Scientific evidence exists that indicates supplements can prevent a stroke. But some research suggests that they can help reduce risk and improve recovery. One of the best ways to receive the supplements are directly into the blood stream, Intravenously.

• Folic acid, vitamin B-6, and vitamin B-12. Certain B vitamins could help to lower levels of the amino acid homocysteine. High levels of homocysteine are linked with an increased risk of stroke.
• Betaine. Research shows that the amino acid betaine may lower levels of homocysteine.
• Vitamin C. This vitamin may aid in repairing blood vessel damage and reducing plaque buildup in the arteries.
• Vitamin D. Supplements of this vitamin may be beneficial because low vitamin D levels are associated with an increased risk of artery-blocking strokes, especially in people with high blood pressure.
• Vitamin E. Taking supplements of vitamin E may help with memory impairment.
• Omega-3 fatty acids. In general, omega-3 fatty acids may improve cholesterol levels. One type of omega-3 fatty acid, alpha-lipoic acid (ALA), may also prevent cell damage, according to a study performed on rats.
• Magnesium. The mineral magnesium may lower blood pressure, according to a study in the journal Hypertension.

Studies of I.V. infused vitamin C (15g) for COVID-19 treatment has been shown to rev up the immune system. The anti-oxidant properties of IV Vit-C have yielded positive results in addressing the cytokine storm characteristic of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) in patients diagnosed with COVID-19.

Glutathione is another I.V. that is beneficial for the immune system. As we age, we produce less of Glutathione.

Benefits of IV Glutathione:
• Reduces oxidative stress….
• Reduces cell damage in alcoholic and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease….
• Improves insulin resistance in older individuals….
• Increases mobility for people with peripheral artery disease….
• Reduces symptoms of Parkinson’s disease….
• Improves Immune System
• Studies have shown that Glutathione is an excellent antioxidant and can prevent damage to important cellular components caused by free radicals and heavy metals.

Additionally, getting IV therapy while also having a P.E.M.F. treatment is a double boost to your cells. The pulsed electro-magnetic therapy increases blood flow and charges your cell’s mitochondria (the power pack of your cells) to produce more ATP. Once your cells have been “charged” or energized, they function more efficiently and ideally to help your body fight off illness and disease. When your cells are not charged or strong enough, your body is most vulnerable to illness and disease.

PEMF Therapy benefits
• Better circulation
• Pain reduction
• Improved muscle relaxation and performance
• Decreased inflammation and swelling
• Improved oxygenation in tissue
• Enhanced cellular repair and recovery
• Improved immune system
• Better sleep – improved recovery
