“It’s an innovative program licensed by the Office of Insurance Regulators as a Continuing Care at Home Community (CCAH), and it speaks directly to the population of seniors who have chosen their homes and see that home as the natural place to live and age,” Spaeth explains.
“It helps if you think of our program as a CCRC without walls, and in your own home instead,” Spaeth said, “Members can rest assured knowing that they retain their independence in their own homes. They have all the conveniences available to them whenever they may need them. After a member qualifies, he or she has a personal care coordinator available 24 hours a day to help with any healthcare need.”
This membership-based program helps seniors preserve their lifestyle in the home they love, surrounded by neighbors and friends. At the same time, the program helps protect their assets because members already have chosen to join before a crisis – far too often, healthcare decisions must be made during a crisis, which can result in limited choices.
