Mark Dransfield: Overcoming the Barriers of Buying & Selling A Home

Mark Dransfield: Overcoming the Barriers of Buying & Selling A HomeWhen it comes to buying or selling your home, most of us know that there are plenty of steps (well, let’s call them as they are—Hurdles) to overcome along the way. Whether that is, as a buyer, finding the right kind of financing (call Josh Mick, he’s got you covered!), then finding the right property to buy (call Mark Dransfield, I’ve got you covered!) to then getting the home inspectors, roof mitigation reports, pool inspection, radon inspections all organized, and the list goes on.

One of the things that most homeowners, in general, tend of overlook is the fact that there may be some things happening in the property that either you don’t know about, can’t see, or can see some evidence of but don’t have a suspect yet. If you’re already ahead of me and know what I mean, you’re correct! Rodents, Termites, Snakes, Ants, Cockroaches and every other kind of unwanted guest (sorry—family and friends not included) that you don’t really want in your house!

This is when it’s a great idea to work with a Professional group of Licensed Pest Control experts to provide you with the best solution for your property. From personal experience, and the fact that he has worked with me on my own personal house, I would ask you to call:

Now, I know I have only mentioned “Buyers” above, but, in all honesty, it’s also something Sellers need to be aware of too. Maybe something as simple as having a Pest Inspection done at the time that we list your property is a good thing. It then shows the buyers that you have taken care of the property you’re selling, and also gives them a peace of mind that this is something else they don’t have to do! We’ve all heard the saying, “Spend money to make money?” Who would like to get more $ in their pocket when selling their house for the sake a spending a few $ before buyer number 1 (and that’s all it takes, right?) falls in love with your home.

Buying and Selling properties takes a team effort. You need the right people at the right time to do the right job. Once you’ve stopped scratching yourself from thinking about all the creepy crawlies we’ve just mentioned, give me a call. I have all the right people to make your life easier, and, as mentioned in last month’s article, I can help alleviate some of the stress that we all get in one of the most important purchases and sales of our lives.
