Dr. John P. Monhollon, MD is an Integrative Family Physician who practices primary care from a holistic perspective. He integrates the best of modern medicine with the best of alternative medicines. Before his residency, he completed a year’s internship in pathology. He is a member of the American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM).
Dr. Monhollon provides patients with individualized caring medicine emphasizing the whole person. While some patients see him for the specialty services provided by the clinic, many others consider him their primary care physician. For those with chronic illnesses, he creates the opportunity for patients to walk with him along a path from disease to health. Because the elimination of the underlying causes of disease can be complicated, he listens attentively and takes time with each patient.
We recently had a chance to catch up with Dr. Monhollon to find out more about a groundbreaking cancer detection and treatment that he’s incorporated into his practice.
Q: What can you tell us about RGCC and this unique cancer management?
A: The Research Genetics Cancer Center (RGCC) Group is located in Greece and has revolutionized cancer care through their diagnostic studies and treatment. We send a sample of the patient’s blood to RGCC where they can isolate what’s known as circulating tumors cells (CTC). These CTCs tell us whether or not one has cancer.
If one does have cancer, the tests will also tell us what kind of cancer and give insight on its severity. Cancer Stem Cells (CSCs) are circulating cancer stem cells that are disease-causing and metastasizing CTCs. As compared to non-aggressive CTCs, circulating CSCs are aggressive and known to evade standard tumor treatment. They can hide from the immune system, and metastasize in other organs. The CSCs must be targeted to enhance your cancer treatment.
The Oncotrace test would be an ideal screening for our entire population because cancer may exist for years before it shows signs and symptoms. RGCC’s onconomics plus test pinpoints exactly which chemotherapy drugs would be effective and which supplements would help.
Q: How are your patients choosing to treat their cancer?
A: Natural food, raw, organic fresh pressed juice, supplements, IV Vitamin C, IPT (insulin potentiation therapy), plus addressing emotional issues, via therapy and EVOX voice recognition technology.
RGCC offers two treatment options. The first is dendritic cell therapy or IST, which stands for Immune Support Therapy. The lab isolates the CTCs and monocytes (large white blood cells), and takes the cancer cells and attaches it to the monocytes thereby creating dendritic cells. Then they mail us this customized cancer treatment that we administer via IV infusion. This medication stimulates the immune system to make T-cells, which target the cancer cells. With IST, you never harm your good, healthy cells.
The second treatment is called short oligonucleotide therapy (SOT). The CTCs are isolated in exactly the same manner as with IST, but with this therapy, the genetic makeup of the CTC is analyzed, and the lab creates a molecule that blocks vulnerable genes. The IV medication, in this case, stimulates and regenerates missing RNA sequences that block specific cancer genes from multiplying. These molecules kill cancer cells while leaving normal cells untouched.
Q: What can you tell us about the outcomes that you’ve seen with your patients?
A: Many of our patients who have been given grim diagnoses are alive and doing well. One of my patients was given only three months to live almost two years ago. They are alive today and thriving with no sign of cancer.
Many people are unaware of the fact that cancer often never entirely goes away, and successfully live with cancer throughout their lives. With RGCC, we see patients that are living with their cancer too, but the tumors are shrinking, and they report significant improvements and feeling better, living life and having vitality.
Q: For those patients wanting to stave off cancer or for patients who are living with cancer what other methods or therapies are you implementing for them?
A: An anticancer lifestyle is at the top of the list. That entails whole foods, fresh raw vegetable juices, anticancer supplements, IV vitamin C infusions, and ultraviolet blood irradiation.
I feel that the best diet is plant-based, and without refined sugar. Sugar feeds cancer. Fresh, organic vegetables should make up the majority of your meals. Also, it helps to avoid foods to which one is sensitive.
