Dinner With The Doctor: “Weight Loss For 2020” It is astoundingly difficult to hold someone’s attention for more than five minutes these days. That’s why I’m taking a unique approach as a physician: inviting you to dinner in the company of others who want to learn more about how to achieve greater health, lose the excess weight in 2020, and improve their quality of life through a supportive individualized and guided program.

I am a Johns Hopkins-trained internal medicine doctor, turned integrative wellness practitioner with a passion for changing the status-quo in healthcare. I want to shout the message of wellness from the rooftops. I’m taking a more reserved approach by offering educational dinner talks on my tab.

My hope is that I will have the opportunity to shed light on the complex topic of weight loss and wellness, to dispel some of the misunderstandings that surround it.

Difficulty losing weight, autoimmune disease, thyroid dysfunction, IBS, and hormone imbalances are often indicative of larger health problems, such as: inability to absorb nutrients, prolonged exposure to toxins, food sensitivities, chronic stress, improper diet, or systemic inflammation.

Other challenging symptoms may include: chronic pain, swelling/bloating, fatigue, skin rashes/sensitivity, acid reflux, insomnia, and difficulty maintaining a healthy weight.

We are all pretty clear on what we do NOT want to see happening to our health over time. We don’t want reduced capacity in body or mind; hormonal dysregulation; afflictions like arthritis, diabetes, cancer, or Alzheimer’s disease leaving us at the mercy of drugs, hospitalizations, or reliant upon others for basic daily needs.
